WHAT TO EXPECT

Caregivers & Individuals

The Center provides activities and nutritional incentives that will have an impact of the participant’s overall well-being.  The focus of our program provides social, physical, spiritual, intellectual and educational stimulation.

Caregivers will also benefit by having a caring Center, when they no longer feel comfortable leaving their loved one alone, in loving care.  Caregivers will be able to focus on their responsibilities, or take a respite. Our Center will provide the daily needs of their loved one.

Individuals will engage in hands on activities such as vegetable gardening, jewelry making, mosaic ceramics, sewing, basic computer operations and various games.   They will be encouraged to participate in singing, reading, physical exercises, and role playing.

The Center will utilize professionals and volunteers as a means of providing a secure and safe environment for participants.  Staff and volunteers will be required to participate in ongoing required training and delegated nursing procedures.
